The posts that got away … No 1. Peaches
July 5th, 2009. Post by WendyWith all the intensity of work on the yurt platform in suspension now that we’re back in Scotland, there’s time to catch up on a handful of posts that there was neither time nor battery power to make while we were there.
First off, our first peaches! Harvested from a small tree on the bottom terrace.
Despite Oonagh’s expression, they are delicious. Not really any achievement on our part since we’ve done nothing but pick them, but it still feels wonderful to eat the produce of our land.
