Because if you accidently drop a big dod of wood on your foot, you might get one of these
And if you get one of these, you can no longer wear these
Which would have been the sensible things to have been wearing in the first place instead of these
Which are useless on the quinta anyway since the spongy soles grab every sharp grass seed and bramble thorn and are very slippy on wet slate steps.
Thank goodness for these
Though they could really do with some air conditioning. Back to these?
